Design File Licence
Last updated: [DATE]
What you are buying
A non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the files in your download (cut files, printable kits, previews and instructions). You own your copy of the files and the pieces you make from them. You do not own the design. The same text is included as LICENSE.txt in every download; that file is the version that applies to your order.
Personal use (every order)
Make as many pieces as you like for yourself, family, gifts, classrooms you teach in, and charity raffles. You may modify the files for your own use (resize, add a name, change material). You may not sell the pieces you make.
Not allowed
- Sharing, posting, uploading, reselling, trading or giving away the files (original, modified, traced or re-drawn) anywhere, including marketplaces, forums and cloud folders.
- Selling the files, or including them in a bundle, course, kit or subscription.
- Mass production, or sending the files to a cutting service that sells the pieces under its own name.
- Removing the copyright notice, order reference or metadata, or claiming the design as your own.
Selling finished pieces (small-business licence)
[OWNER: decide whether to offer this at launch. The bundled LICENSE.txt describes a small-business tier of up to [250] units per year per design; if it is not sold yet, say “Ask us” and give the contact below.]
Order marks
Files carry your order reference and may carry tiny identifying marks so a leaked copy can be traced to its order.
Third-party marks
Designs that depict landmarks or buildings are unofficial and not affiliated with or endorsed by any organisation shown. Some designs carry an extra disclaimer on the product page.
Breaches
Breaking these terms ends your licence. We may ask for removal of infringing listings and uploads. To report misuse, or to ask about larger volumes: the.turnip.ink@gmail.com.
